The Pilot Program to Study and Improve Screening Practices for Autism Spectrum Disorders (Pilot Program)

House Bill 579 and Senate Bill 834 were passed during the 2004-2005 General Assembly session. In August of 2006, MSDE and the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DHMH) sent out a request for proposals to conduct the Pilot Program. In February of 2007, the Center for Promotion of Children Development through Primary Care was selected to conduct the Pilot Program the Pilot Program Activities will be completed by May 30, 2008.
